Spotlight on: Living Large in Limited Space

  • Function Room - Woodend Neighbourhood House 47 Forest Street Woodend, VIC (map)

Building “no bigger than you need” is the most important consideration of Sustainable Housing. Smaller homes require less material to build and less energy to run. In this session we will see and hear about some renovations that have improved the buildings’ liveability, despite adding little to their footprint. We will also hear about the Tiny House phenomenon, in advance of the Tiny House Festival running in Bendigo later in March .

Speakers & topics include:

Darren Hughes, Tiny Houses Australia
Planning requirements relevant to Tiny Houses
Reconfiguring a home for improved solar access and usability

Free entry.
