A cleaner, greener future for the Macedon Ranges - and beyond!
The Macedon Ranges Sustainable Living Festival (MRSLF) will take place in Woodend in the scenic Macedon Ranges, on Saturday the 3rd of March 2018. The festival attracts strong support from businesses, community groups and government representatives and is hosted by the local NFP Macedon Ranges Sustainability Group (MRSG). The MRSLF is now in its 9th year is one of the region's most popular and important events.
The MRSLF provides a vibrant platform for sustainability leaders to showcase sustainable living ideas, products, and practical solutions. As a vehicle for social change we aim to inspire and engage visitors from the Macedon Ranges and wider region, connect like-minded organisations, launch environmental campaigns, and build community around the fast-growing sustainable living movement. The 2018 MRSLF aims to raise funds towards the Macedon Ranges Renewable Energy Fund to support our Macedon Ranges Solar Schools project.
The MRSLF runs in conjunction with the Woodend Community Farmers’ Market, another established initiative of the MRSG. This well-loved event draws patrons from all over the region to revel in the relaxed country atmosphere and stock their larders with mountains of high quality, local produce.
The 2018 MRSLF will showcase the region's premier environmental programs, projects, products and services, and features an exciting line-up of inspiring exhibitors, free workshops, guest speakers, film screenings, and kid's activities.
